PM Online Guide
🧠 Problem As a mentor to many entry-level product managers through 1:1 sessions and my community, I noticed a common struggle: “Where do I even start?” Most aspiring PMs were overwhelmed by the scattered nature of product learning resources. Even worse, they didn’t know how to apply what they learned or showcase their skills in a meaningful way. There was no centralized place to or access to these things are behind a paywall: - Discover curated resources for learning and upskilling - Practice PM tasks in realistic contexts - Share personal projects or case studies with peers or hiring managers So, I built one.
Solution
I created the PM Practical Resource Guide, a free online platform that helps entry-level PMs learn by doing.
⚙️ Features:
Home – Clear explanation of what the platform is and how it helps
Tasks – Practical case study prompts covering real PM scopes:
Research
Product writing
Roadmapping
Analytics
Prioritization
Ideation
Resources – Curated articles, free courses, interview prep guides, communities, and templates
Share Your Work – Guide on how to publicly share your case studies using
#PMPracticalGuide
About – Story behind the platform and who it's for
🧩 My Role
Defined the product scope and MVP
Conducted informal user research via conversations with mentees and community members
Designed and built the site using no-code and AI-powered tools (Bolt, Netlify, etc.)
Wrote all instructional copy and resource explanations
Collected feedback for iteration (recently added the Resources page based on user input)
✨ Impact
100+ users have explored the platform organically within the first few weeks
Several people used the task prompts to build portfolio case studies
Positive feedback from entry-level PMs who now feel more confident approaching interviews and personal projects
Became a shareable tool during mentorship sessions and group workshops
